Trader Joe's Corn And Chile Tomato-Less Salsa

by trader joes products on January 14, 2012

Trader Joe's Corn and Chile Tomato-Less Salsa – the 13.75 ounce jar reads, "A sweet combination of corn, red peppers, onion and a touch of heat. NOT ALL SALSAS ARE MADE WITH TOMATOES! Popular recipes found throughout Mexico & the Tex-Mex border region contain everything but the tomato. We searched for a tomato-less salsa & found a unique recipe with corn, red bell peppers, onion & jalapeno peppers. Slightly sweet with a touch of heat. Try it as a dip for chips or spread it on tacos, burritos and taquitos."

Ingredients: corn, sugar, onions, red bell peppers, jalapeƱo peppers, distilled vinegar, spices, salt, guar gum.

This trader joe’s salsa is really good. I would say that I’m pretty traditional when it comes to salsa but this corn and chile without tomatos is really, really good. Very addicting with chips and even had it on a hot dog the other day. Strongly recommended. Good job trader joes!

Oh my Higher Power,
This is one of the best things I have ever had. I treat it like a relish, and eat it by the spoonful. I think I may warm it up and eat it as a side with a steak or spaghetti .

I love trader joes so much I want to work there.
